Paradise Valley is a smaller upscale suburb in the Phoenix Arizona area which has a population of about 14,500 people. Paradise Valley is a highly desirable city for those relocating to Arizona.

Paradise Valley is home to twelve resorts. It has prime real estate, with a median resale value at $1.2 million, with many exceeding $5 million and some over $15 million.

It should not be confused with the neighborhood in northeast Phoenix of the same name. For instance, Paradise Valley Community College, Paradise Valley High School, Paradise Valley Hospital, Paradise Valley Mall, and Paradise Valley Golf Course are all located several miles to the north, in Phoenix - a considerable distance from the town that actually bears their name.

Paradise Valley is often considered to be an extension of Scottsdale, another area with a wealthy reputation. Paradise Valley residents attend schools in the Scottsdale Unified School District 'this is Paradise Valley.' That  was the original conversation and project which led to the naming of the Paradise Valley community.

Paradise Valley History
Paradise Valley was the Broad Valley lying east Phoenix mountains and west of McDowell Mountains. So named by Frank Conkey, Manager, Rio Verde Canal Co., 1899. "When the promoters of this Rio Verde canal project first saw this broad level valley in the early spring covered with flowers and the palo verdes in full blossom, they all said,
