Home of the Superstition Montains. Apache Junction is located 35 miles outside of Phoenix and Mesa at the junction of the 60 and 88 highways on the eastern rim of the Phoenix metropolitan area.

The Lost Ductchman State Park and Lost Dutchman Mine are some of the cities most famous attractions. The park offers a variety of hiking trails, nature trails, 70 regular campsites, picnic facilities, and special programs throughout the year.

Don't forget to try the Mining Camp restaurant for a fun time for all. The world famous Mining Camp Restaurant opened its doors to the public in 1961.  replica of the old mining camp cook shanty sits today at the base of the mysterious Superstition Mountains, and along the romantic Apache Trail. As was the case in the old camps, the Mining Camp Restaurant serves "all you can eat," (Family Style Dinners right to your table). Be sure to come hungry!
